10 May Menu Inspiration | 2017 Cedarwood Style Show
We are always happy to participate in Cedarwood‘s annual wedding spring style show as one of their catering partners. Serving up some of our most loved dishes, couples and guests noshed on dreamy deliciousness that included butler passed appetizers, themed displays & action stations.
We passed hors d’oeuvres including our Arugula BLT, Beet Biscuit with pimento cheese and Cucumber Medallion with feta, basil & sun-dried tomato. Our Southern and comfort-inspired menus included classics, like the Hot or Not Chicken and Waffles, Tuscan Brussel Sprouts (a must-have for Dream fans), White Cheddar Mashed potatoes and Jack Daniels Whiskey Pecan Chicken. A Bruschetta Display allowed guests to customize their own plate with a variety of options, from Tomato & Basil Compote and Spreadable Chèvre. And with international cuisine becoming a top trend of 2017, our Asian Noodle Station was a hit – a cook to order station of noodles, toppings, and sauces where guests could invent their own dishes.
Dream Tip! Serving a menu that includes displays or station that guests may customize makes it easy to accommodate dietary needs or allergies. Spread food stations throughout the event space and serve a few passed appetizers so there’s not a bottle-neck at your buffet.
