Meet Anna, our catering manager! Born in Romania and adopted at a very young age, Anna grew up in Nashville most of her life. She then moved to Chicago for nearly 7 years before coming back home.

Anna began working with the Dream Team in a part-time capacity for a year and a half before becoming a full-time employee as our catering manager—and we couldn’t be happier to have her!

Read on to learn more about Anna and how she got into the food and event industry.

How long have you been in the industry?

Oh goodness! Well, I have been in the food industry for 10 years, throughout Nashville and Chicago, and newly in the catering industry!

What made you want to get into the industry?

I have always had a love for photography, specifically still life, and throughout college, I would use food and beverage as my subjects! My interest in the industry grew, and I’ve never looked back!

How long have you been with Dream? 

I have been with Dream part-time for a year and a half and full-time [for] 7 months!

What is your favorite dish that Dream serves and why?

Our cooks are so amazing at Dream! My favorite dish would have to be the Seared Ahi Tuna.

How important is company culture, and what do you do to maintain it?

Company culture is what keeps everything together! Having an open and positive work environment only makes a work family stronger, and in turn, makes the company as a whole stronger.

What are some of your favorite current trends in the industry?

One of my favorites is seeing vegetarian-based menus, as well as eating locally-sourced foods.

Do you have a favorite go-to place in Nashville?

One of my favorites would be The BE- Hive because it’s a local deli but vegan!

What’s your favorite part about your job?

My favorite part about my job is knowing we have such a positive impact on a couple’s special days!

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

I enjoy spending time outdoors with all of my animals! My boyfriend and I have 3 cats, 1 dog, and 2 snakes.
