Kim and Danny celebrated their marriage with a summer garden wedding in Nashville at East Ivy Mansion. Their sweet love story began when they both came to Music City; Kate from Texas, Danny from Chicago, and met as college students at Belmont University. The pair share a love of hiking, dogs and the outdoors, so it was a perfect fit when Danny proposed at Beamen Park!

Early in the morning, wedding festivities began with Kim and her bridal party getting their hair done by The Blowout Co. and makeup by Lovely You. While the girls were pampered, the groom and his groomsmen enjoyed the sunshine by the pool at the Mansion.

Later in the evening, the outdoor ceremony took place on a warm summer night in June. It wouldn’t have been complete without the couple’s adorable dog, Hallie strutting down the aisle. A reception followed that felt like a backyard garden party complete with string lights and lush florals for the newlyweds with their closest friends and family. For cocktail hour, our culinary team prepared summer bites like our creamy cucumber bites and chicken salad wontons. 

Dinner consisted of various dishes like our farmers salad, honey balsamic chicken, au gratin potatoes, and roasted asparagus. Shortly after, guests enjoyed a tiered cake from Baked on 8th with an “H” topper for the groom’s surname. A friend of the couple was the MC for the night, which kept the party going. Plenty of funny faces were made in the Smile Bar photo booth as well. After hours of singing, dancing and taking photos, attendees traveled to an after party at a comedy club for some more laughs. It was a great way to end an unforgettable night.
